Presented to IFA2019: IFA NEXT exhibition held in Berlin, Germany
We exhibited to IFA2019: IFA NEXT held at the Messe Berlin in Berlin, Germany (September 6 through September 11, 2019).
The ECHONET Consortium set up an exhibition booth at the IFA NEXT venue, and intorduced the WebAPI that enables linkages between clouds. The ECHONET Consortium is developing this WebAPI to support the IoT society.
During the seven-day exhibition, the ECHONET Consortium’s booth had 150 visitors from various national and international companies, standardization organizations, and news organizations.
The standardization organizations that came to the ECHONET booth wanted to discuss data linkage, and there were visitors who wanted to become members of the ECHONET Consortium.
Also, ECHONET member gave presentations to introduce ECHONET initiatives on a stage constructed at the center of the exhibition hall.

What is IFA2019/IFA NEXT?
The International Consumer Electronics Show (Internationale Funkausstellung, IFA) is one of the largest exhibitions next to CES, and held in Berlin every September.
At the IFA2019 Global Innovation Hub “IFA NEXT” of this year, Japan was selected as a partner country for the first time and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, METI presented an exhibition booth.
At IFA NEXT, there were booths from startups, universities, research and development institutions, and cutting-edge IT companies from all over the world.
