ECHONET Consortium exhibited ESS EXPO 2022 (Energy Storage System Expo 2022) held from June 29th to July 1st, 2022. The venue was Korea’s largest convention center KINTEX in Goyang City which is northwest of Seoul City. Since this exhibition was held together with EXPO SOLAR (solar power generation), BATTERY & CHARGING INFRA EXPO (storage battery and charger infrastructure) and GREEN NEW DEAL EXPO (green new deal policy), a total of about 130 companies were exhibiting.
Two notebook PCs were placed on the counter table of our booth. One PC repeatedly played the introduction video of ECHONET Consortium. Exhibitor operated a demo system that controlled storage batteries, air conditioners and other devices by ECHONET Lite on another PC and displayed it on a large display. In addition, leaflets, booklets, and business cards of ECHONET Consortium were placed on the counter table and a panel was posted on the wall inside the booth to explain the outline of ECHONET Lite, the introduction of ECHONET Lite Web API, and the status of alignment with other standards.
The booth was visited by about 80 people and 50 copies of leaflets and booklets were distributed. The industries of the visitors were equipment development and sales of solar power generation systems, car-related technology companies, aluminum product manufacturers, investment companies, construction equipment industry, product manufacturers for power control panels, etc.
