This device is a gateway device for home installation targeting the HEMS market. It supports ECHONET Lite and UPnP, which are HEMS communication standards, and detects home appliances that support the ECHONET Lite standard, generates a UPnP standard virtual device, and provides it to the network. Based on the UPnP protocol, you can monitor and control the status of home appliances from a computer within the network. As of July 2015, the following ECHONET Lite devices are supported.

Additionally, since you can connect to the Internet by connecting to a broadband router, you can also send data to a cloud server and operate ECHONET Lite devices according to your requests.
