Panasonic announced industry’s first “Power Station” which is equipped with photovoltaic inverter and bi-directional inverter for Li-Ion storage battery combined. (*1) This product can maximize self-consumption under normal operation. When power fails, end customers can use energy from the battery. The product lineup includes 3 types, 5.6kWh and 1.2kWh battery capacity and 2kVA and 3kVA back-up output, to save the energy bill and maximize self-consumption. . The system has different operation modes that meet different life-style of end customers. With an Economy Priority mode, the system will charge the battery with inexpensive midnight power, use Photovoltaic power during day time, and used the stored energy in the evening and night time. o Under environmental priority mode, system will charge only excess energy from photovoltaic.
Panasonic gives security to purchasers with the following splendid warranty conditions:
Power Station: 15 years from the date of installation (*2)
Li-Ion battery unit: 10 years from the date of installation (*2)
The “power Station” is suitable to new residence and existing residence as well.
