Overview

Exhibited at ENEX2019 & Smart Energy Japan (Wed. Jan 30, 2019 through Fri. Feb 1, 2019) held at Tokyo Big Sight East 1 and 2 Hall.

Co-hosted by the Smart House Research Center at the Kanagawa Institute of Technology and the ECHONET Consortium, 18 exhibitors (16 ECHONET Consortium member companies and 2 non-member companies) participated in the event.

Also, from 13:00 on February 1, at the seminar venue, Professor Masao Isshiki of Kanagawa Institute of Technology titled “Let’s Create with All! IoT Smart House” gave a lecture. In addition, lecture was given by Sekisui Chemical Co., NextDrive Corporation.
Nine exhibitors later introduced their technologies.

Seminar: “Let’s create together! IoT Smart House”

On the last day of the exhibition (which started at 1:00 PM on February 1) at the seminar venue, Prof. Masao Isshiki, director of the Smart House Research Center, Kanagawa Institute of Technology gave a talk titled “Making people happy with Smarthouses”, followed by presentations of case studies by Sekisui Chemical Co., Ltd. and NextDrive Co., Ltd., as well as product and technology explanations given by ECHONET Consortium member companies.

On the first day of the exhibition, a VIP consisting of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Parliamentary Secretary, the department manager of the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, the section chief, the Chairman of the Japan Wholesale Power Exchange, the gas company, the officials of the electric power company, etc. visited our exhibition booth , Professor Isshiki Kanagawa Institute of Technology responded.
In addition, 15 British smart energy companies and InnovateUK, a British government agency subsidized for the creation of innovation for companies, visited exhibition booths and Professor Kanagawa Ichiro Industrial University responded.
