The 31st Forum of the ECHONET Consortium was held at Seavans, Minato-ku, Tokyo on February 13th, 2014. 134 people participated, including from METI as well as 69 Member Companies and exchanged technical information actively.
In this Forum, Mr. Hajime Okamoto, an official from Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and Dr. Masao Isshiki of the Smart House Research Center gave presentations as invited speeches. ECHONET Consortium made following reports: on transition to a general incorporated association by Steering Committee, on the overseas research, on handling of ECHONET trademark, on international standardizations, on certifications, and on activities from Technical Committee and Promotion Committee. Also five technical speeches and nine exhibitions of products were presented by members.
