Hybrid power storage systems quickly store solar generated electricity that can be used even at night, providing backup power for an entire household in the event of an unexpected blackout. This high-capacitance, high-output hybrid power storage system is positioned as the industry’s flagship model.
Conventional Battery Energy Storage system use a solar power conditioner to temporarily convert solar power generated as direct current to alternating current. To charge the storage battery with this electricity, it must once again be converted to direct current, which it was pointed out leads to further conversion loss. To keep this loss to a minimum, this hybrid system combines a storage battery and power conditioner in one unit.
In addition, the ability to confirm and control the amount of solar generated power, storage battery charge and discharge and other operating conditions, makes this system easier to use. It is also easily compatible with upcoming new services such as demand response (DR) and virtual power plant (VPP).
