We welcome Professor Chih-Lin Hu from National Central University, Taiwan as an Advisory Fellow
ECHONET Consortium is pleased to welcome Professor Chih-Lin Hu from National Central University, Taiwan as its fourth Advisory Fellow.
Professor Hu specializes in digital home, mobile computing and Internet technologies and has deep ties with ECHONET Consortium. He was engaged in research of ECHONET-related technologies at Kanagawa Institute of Technology in 2018 and introduces ECHONET Lite and ECHONET Lite Web API to Taiwan. Recently, he has been working to hold seminars such as “Japan-Taiwan Smart Energy Seminar 2024” and has supported our activities in Taiwan by introducing Taiwanese energy, EV, and smart home companies to ECHONET Consortium.
Advisory fellows are entrusted to individuals who provide advice and support for ECHONET Consortium’s activities. Three experts, Vice President Yasuo Tan from Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Institute Professor Masao Isshiki from Kanagawa Institute of Technology and Project Professor Masaki Umejima from Keio University, who are famous in the fields of smart home and energy have been appointed as Advisory Fellows so far. By welcoming Professor Hu from overseas this time, we will work to increase the recognition of ECHONET standards in Asia and other countries, disseminate the standards and promote international standardization, thereby further developing ECHONET Consortium and improving member services.
