The 11th Forum was held on July 11th at the Seavance S Building 1F Large Hall. There were a total of 109 participants on the day, including speakers and technology exhibitors.
In the invited speeches, Mr. Ikeda from the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) presented the activity situation of the “Smart Home Cyber Security WG” and “Smart Home Safety Standardization WG” of the “JEITA Smart Home Committee “.
Furthermore, Mr. Nakamura of JEITA also gave a detailed explanation of the Smart Home Data Catalog WG activity status and data catalog mechanism.
Also, Mr. Komaki of West Nippon Telegraph & Telephone Corp., a managing member, introduced various technologies using the AI that the NTT Group is working on under the title “Smart Life Considered by NTT West Japan”.
Mr. Komaki also gave a talk on smart life platform efforts to realize various services corresponding to IoT homes and apartments, and home solutions using the optical BOX EMS version.
In addition, the committee’s activity plan in 2019 and the latest technologies from member companies were introduced, and members’ technologies and products were exhibited.
