IEC published the contents of APPENDIX Detailed Requirements for ECHONET Device objects Release M as an international standard
With the support of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, ECHONET Consortium started international standardization activities for the contents of “APPENDIX Detailed Requirements for ECHONET Device objects” (APPENDIX) in 2002. As a result, IEC 62394 was published by IEC in 2006. Thereafter, we have continued international standardization activities for the revisions of IEC 62394 to reflect the revisions of APPENDIX, leading to the publication of the revisions in 2013 and 2017. Since 2017, we have conducted international standardization activities with Kanagawa Institute of Technology. Therefore, IEC 62394:2022, which reflects the contents of APPENDIX Release M, was published as the Edition 4.0 of IEC 62349 on July 22, 2022.
