We demonstrated ECHONET Lite AIF at the International Standardization Conference
At the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC25 International Standardization Conference held in Yamagata from September 23 to 27 this year, with support from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, we conducted a demonstration of remote control of an electric vehicle charger/discharger using ECHONET Lite AIF in collaboration with Kanagawa Institute of Technology. In the demonstration, with the cooperation of our members ACCESS Co., Ltd., INTEC Co., Ltd., and mui Lab Co., Ltd., we connected each company’s HEMS controller to an electric vehicle charger/discharger installed at the Kanagawa Institute of Technology HEMS Interoperability Test Center and controlled it in real time using ECHONET Lite AIF. This demonstration showed that interoperability between different vendors is maintained by the ECHONET Lite AIF and was highly praised by SC25 members.
